We produce a small scale show that we live stream. We rebroadcast other streams and sometimes I have 8 or more web browser sources to play each of these streams.
I am overloading my CPU (3900x, 32g RAM) with these 8 720p web browser sources. Is there any way to rebroadcast live streamed content, or is the only choice to have this content streamed to me over RTMP if I want to unload my CPU?
Secondly, would going from a 3900x to a 3960* or 3970 Threadripper be a valid upgrade? I am at about 92-96% CPU while streaming - we also have a project that we wish to have up to 75 channels being rebroadcast? Is this remotely possible?
