I need SDI - USB capture device for laptop.
Magewell XI100DUSB-SDI for $299.00 looks interesting.
Is tehere any other cheaper HD alternatives?

Does Magewell have any more advantages compared with BM UltraStudio SDI than price (100$ less)?

Magewell is more stable and compatible with any USB 3 chipsets. It has hardware resolution converter (scaler).
BM has Ref In input and Sdi+HDMI outputs. Magewell has SDI input only.
