Hi all, I'm linking out to vmix from my website and would like to automatically fill in the name field for the user. Is there a query parameter I can add to the url to fill in the name field? Our users are going back and forth between vmix and our site and we'd like to make this process easier.
The url I have is "https://www.vmixcall.com/?Code=xxxx".
Thanks!

Hi Fran8619 not sure if this the answer you are looking for however as you mentioned query parameter for the name you can use the VMIX call url direct with the Call number and name parameters see https://www.vmixcall.com...678&Name=Joe%20Blogsor VMIXcall advanced https://advanced.vmixcal...678&Name=Joe%20BlogsIf you know your javascript code well and using VMIX 4K/Pro versions you could write some scripts that will grab the VMIXCall input call codes then build the links for you. If you have a form on a website where the person enters their name then you could also take their name and add to the URLS NAME param above, and also send the name back into VMIX to update the input name field, which is useful so you know who is on the call input. Hope this helps with idea on how to progress. I have a suite of tools coming out soon including similar feature. Be interesting to know how your users use your system more and can help in more detail kr Ian

Hi Fran
What we have done is use MS Excel - create an array You have your call codes along the top in (say) cells A1 - J1 You then put in your caller names in A2, B3 ... J9 Just copy and paste them in - with spaces Using formula in Excel you can append the names into a one click link to share with your clients (or at least they can copy and paste in to a browser)
Am sure there's more elegant ways to do it - but that's what we came up with in a hurry.
Pete
