When you open a vmix file by double clicking it in file in explorer, could you possibly set the "Save File Dialog" folder to the one you opened and not leave it at the previous one you saved.
I have twice overwritten the wrong file because it remembers the folder of the previous project and not the one you just opened.
It seems ok using the "Open option" if you run vMix first (which I don't normally use - but will for now). I normally just double click the vmix file from explorer.
