I have read some posts on this topic but have not found a solution.

My home network is 192.168.0.x and all computers, including vMix, are connected to the DHCP side of the router (Apple Airport Extreme) and all set to DHCP.
The Video Call, NDI and Desktop Capture work perfectly from computers on this network.

The Web Controller address in vMix is 169.254.56.2:8088
I have tried entering this address on a laptop (wired) and iPad(wireless)on the same network and no connection.
I entered http://127.0.0.1:8088 and no connection
entering "localhost:8088", in a browser on the vMix computer, shows the Web Control window so port 8088 is working.

Any thoughts on what to do?

I had to enter the local network IP address of the vMix host laptop plus the ":8088" instead of the address in the Web Control window. DOH!!!

if your DHCP is 192.168.0.x, the IP of your computer normaly not should have 169.254.56.2
try to get the IP of your computer and call 192.168.0.IP:8088
are there more then one nics in your computer? Sometimes vMix shows the wrong IP
