When I am in Linked A/B mode and clip a play I can keep A and B synced which is good.

However, if I have A in Program and try to switch to B using my preview and Cut or fade on my control surface if will jump to something that is not that play?

If I use the swap feature it works fine. That being said I could just punch 1-8 and not need the swap feature at all.

In most sports production, the preference is normally fades and not cuts. I would really like to Link channels and fade between A & B. Either I am doing something wrong now or something changed because I was able to do this in 23.
