There are currently shortcuts to drive stinger transitions 1-4. However other than going into the overlay settings there is no way to select the stinger input that is used. What I have in mind is a shortcut that will allow you to set the stinger input which will then allow stingers to be selected on an external control surface. This would be useful particularly now that we can use GT Titler to create the stinger.
