Is multicorder suitable to record SRT files? I do not mean the four vMix outputs but the raw .TS files.
I know that multicorder raw recording is not suitable for vMix call (except for the four vMix outputs) because it starts a new file when the frame rate, etc changes.
My problem is needing more vMix outputs, which would be solved if multicorder works for recording SRT inputs without a problem.

Yes, MultiCorder records the raw SRT streams as is to .ts files. This means it is exactly as the source is sent, does not use any extra CPU and won't split the files etc.
The downside is no processing occurs, so any issues with the source SRT stream will be in the .ts file as well.

Thanks Martin. So, you are not explicitly saying to avoid MultiCorder in this case, as you have said regarding vMix Call. Instead, you are just issuing a caution. Is that correct?
Update: on further testing, it seems that vMix simply stops recording the file when the resolution changes. Multicorder continues to run but the file stops at the point of a change to the stream, without any notice to the user.

Hi,
The recording is still happening, even with resolution change, however many apps do not support this so may show only the first part of the recording, but you will note the file size is a lot larger then had it stopped at that change.
So MultiCorder with SRT is fully supported, but there are technical limitations you need to keep in mind, as it records the exact stream the encoder sends.

Martin,
Yes, you are correct the file was complete and it loaded properly in Premiere. However, the audio sync drifted over time.
In contrast, the same recording made using vMix outputs remained fully in sync throughout.
So I see your point about the nature of the raw .ts stream.
