Hi There,
Over the past few days I have run into an issue where the bitrate or compression of my vmix calls in my project keep fluctuating from crisp to heavily compressed and serious artifcating.
I have done speed tests on my system currently averaging at 150mbps down and 15mbps up hard wired. My guests also have given similar speeds.
I have turned off the auto bitrate option on both calls to lock in at 1200kbps for their speeds.
Has anyone else experienced this and found a resolution?
Thank you!

I experienced something similar on a recent job - stable connection, but fluctuating bitrate. When we got a chance to look at the laptop used for the call, Chrome was using about 95% of the CPU. We switched to Firefox, CPU usage dropped dramatically, and the vMix Call bitrate was stable after that. You milage may vary, but it's not always a network problem...

That solved our varying bitrate issue! Would go as far to say any Vmix call guest should use Firefox by default!
