Hi All,
We are looking to do some work with a track cycling organisation and would like to pull live timing from their timing system into VMix.
In speaking with the vendor, we can get data out of the system in two ways, via JSON (easy enough for rider names, events etc) and UDP. The live timing comes via the UDP stream as text.
Is it possible to pull this UDP stream into a VMix title somehow? (scripting, external application, whatever, I'm open to all suggestions)
Thanks all

Thanks. I have read the manual, but it is not explicitly clear on this point - hence why I am asking. The manual does not mention UDP at all in the data types.
As I said in my first post, the JSON stuff is easy - I have done this before.

UDP has no set format like XML or JSON do. You will need some external application to receive the UDP and which triggers something like SetText in the vMix API to change a title when it gets new data.

Did any of you come across a solution that you can share with us? I have a similar request of fetching live timer information via UDP so any suggestions will be helpful.
