I have my stream deck setup with multiple videos that I would like to overlay on a BLANK 10 Multi layer. How do I make the videos layer to background with out covering up the foreground. At the moment soon as I press a key to transition on the stream deck it becomes the primary layer.

What do your mean the StreamDeck becomes the primary layer? The Streamdeck is a control device. Can you take a screenshot of what you are trying to show? Do you want the videos all at once as pips?

So basically I have my background Videos in VMIX each video is mapped to a key on the stream deck. If create a Virtual set in VMIX and have one of the videos layered in the background when I press to change the video in VMix with the stream deck that video becomes the primary image rather than the background just changing.

Need more info .. StreamDeck is just the controller .. Perhaps set up your production in vMix how you want it to work and then move onto controlling it via StreamDeck

I think I follow. All of the multiview layers are on top of the source, and 10 above 9, 9 above 8 and so on. But even 1 is still *above* the main input. So even though you're thinking of the videos as "background", by putting them in multiview, you're making them the foreground when placed on a higher layer. You need to reverse the order, and make your background videos the main input (or still use a blank input and assign the background video to multiview layer 1), and whatever you want in the foreground goes on a higher numbered layer. Scaled, keyed, or both. Tip: Standardize across inputs. E.G. Layer 1: Silent background video/image Layer 2: Media Playback video Layer 3: Main Camera (or vice versa) ... Layer 9: Lower third (mainly if you're looking at the version with only one overlay) Layer 10: Bug/logo (same)

image.png (992kb) downloaded 2 time(s).Thanks for all the reply's so in this image I have the the background as the Orange lighting. (which is the background layer in a Blank 10 virtual set ) If I want to change that Orange background image by pressing a shortcut to another video on my stream deck how do I do this? as it stands if I press a key on my stream deck the video obviously wont change the background layer as each of my videos are on different layers.I would like to be able to change the orange background without affecting anything else.

Overlay is the normal Downstreamkey Overlay. It is OVER your video.
SetMultiViewOverlay is the function you are looking vor.

I think the problem with virtual sets is that the background is the input source and not a multiview layer. Unless you REALLY need virtual sets (that you probably dont need) you could do it like this: https://drive.google.com...Sgc_kxJ/view?usp=sharingAnother option would be, you set overlays on your background input. So say your virtual set uses Input 1 as Background. You could add layers on top of Input 1. Then you use some logic with MultiViewOverlay (Toggle them on or off) and/or SetMultiviewOverlay
