Video Camera into AV.IO capture card into computer into vmix as an input

XLR mic into sound board

We have noticed the audio is not in sync with our video on the stream.
So, we tried hooking up the xlr to the video camera xlr input. Knowing
the audio is now going out of the camera on the hdmi cable, into the AV.Io
capture card, we can't find the audio in vMix anywhere.

On the top of the video camera, there are settings for mic/line and 48v
phantom or not. We through, we needed a 48v injector for the mic, so we
picked up one of them and put that inline from the mic to the camera. Then
switched the setting on the camera to 48v's

Still no audio is showing up anywhere in vMix

Clearly we don't know how to handle this. What is making it more complicated
is we are using a green screen for our video. So we have three inputs to
make that work.

Inputs: Camera, Image for greenscreen and output screen for stream

We could really use some help in getting the audio out of the camera so we
are in sync on the stream... Thanks

What device were you using to capture the audio from your sound board, before trying to embed audio on HDMI from your camera ?

You should be able to delay the audio on that Input by adjusting the audio settings. Usually about 120ms does the trick.

Our current set up is an HD Camcorder through an AV.io capture card.

The audio is coming in through an xlr connector on the sound board.

We will look at that audio stream and try the delay. Thank you!
