Our corporate event team uses vMIX for a variety of live events. Our go-to captioning device inserts CEA608/708 metadata into our program feed before being sent to vMIX however the metadata is never processed by vMIX. We would like to be able to have closed captioning without using a cloud service and avoid having to burn in captions.

Decent caption data support in general would be huge. Surprisingly rare in video gear still.

Also the ability to stream the caption data seprately. Youtube for example, will accept caption data imbedded in the video for live streams, but won't record it for watchers after the stream has ended. If you send the caption data separately, it stays online. Getting this feature in the caption encoder can cost more than a Vmix Pro license.

+1 for this! Multiple subtitle track streaming via metadata is really needed.

+1. I hate having to use Livestream Studio when I need to support CEA608/708 captions. Granted that this would probably be locked to PCI-e capture cards that support CEA608/708, but some form of support would be amazing.

I would like to give a big plus one for this feature. Embedded subtitles for the RTMPS output is a big deal, more and more streaming platform can handle this, so it can be a really usefull thing for the multi-language livestreaming.
