We usually have ASIO audio inputs that are coming from an outboard mixer that would be nice to record. The multicorder let's you choose video inputs, and then choose whether to record the input audio or master with that file. I'd like to be able to choose audio inputs as well, and record them independent of any video sources or program output.

This can be particularly handy as a backup if I miss a cue to turn on a mic while live mixing, I've got access to it later.
