FL studio as audio input to Vmix? How about any daw?

It looks like this question was asked a few times, but no answers that I can see/find.
I'm simply trying to assign audio input to my template. I want to use my DAW, FL studio. I select add input, and I see a number of choices for audio device.
Asio4all, FL asio, Focusrite usb asio (my interface) but none of them seem to be registering my midi keyboard (plugged into computer usb, and then processed and voiced in FL studio) I see no sign of input on Vmix audio mixer sound graph.
