Hey there. We have a dual vmix setup where our PC1 (= main prod, sending out master) receives 4 NDI feeds from PC2.

Now, what I'd love to do is press the Overlay buttons (1-4) on my PC2 and have them appear on PC1 in the Masterfeed, but no matter what I try I do not achieve this.

Did I just wrongly assume/understand that this is possible, or is it actually possible and I am missing something? Also enabled Alpha Channels.

For example, I want to have a lower third fade in on Overlay 1 (PC2!), and then when I deactived it again, obviously fade out.

If anyone has experience with this and knows whether it's possible or not, would be much appreciated.

Hi Sharper,

Some thoughts
You run a script on PC1 that reads the overlay status of PC2.
When the overlay stutus has changed on PC2, you let the script change the overlay on PC1.
If you are using Vmix UTC you can program the botton to change the overlay on both PC's.
Maybe Bitfocus Companion can do the job aswell.

Kind regards

is like, i flip a light switch at home and the light turns on at work ??

you better use shortcuts that call a little script that sends ( httprequest) the overlay function to the other PC (check "scripting for dummies" post) KISS
