vMix API: AddInput request

Hi,
Having used vMix for a number of years, I would like to suggest this as a relatively high priority
Can you please add .vmix files to the list of supported formats for the AddInput API?
The advantages of this are numerous: * We would be able to drag-and-drop customized vmix sources onto vMix when needed - in the same way we can drag-and-drop images, mp4s, etc onto vMix * the source could be anything - video / images / NDI * audio settings (especially for videos) would be exactly as you want them * new sources would be automatically supported, without the need of extending the API * Only the <Input> tag would be imported. Blank sources (Type 100) in the vmix file would be ignored * It will encourage others to look at the XML data in .vmix files, and how easy it is to be creative with it.
The existing Preset options in the API are unsuitable - since they REPLACE, not EXTEND, the current sources... and they won't do anything while external output is enabled. I don't want to have to disable everything just to add another source.

Yes! Currently I don’t know of a method to bring a customized input from one preset into another. That would be very helpful.

Any update on this request? It shouldn't be difficult to implement, since all the logic already exists.
Now that I'm using NDI a lot more, this is really causing issues for us.

Now that I'm using NDI a lot more, this is really causing issues for us. It's been a long time and the staff at vMix can EASILY implement this feature, and are obviously unwilling to allow us end-users to access this feature: they've implemented a pointless vmixzip, but nothing that is really useful. So I have given up on the vMix solution and created my own. It's not as good as if vMix would take the time and LISTEN TO THEIR USERS... but it works: what I have done is built a solution around the software called AutoHotKey (www.autohotkey.com)... it takes about 3s to load a .vmix file into vmix, but it works. If you'd like to know more, please email me: dr.joe.b@gmail.com(btw, I am a paying customer, and have purchased a few licenses from you)
