We have had several requests in the last few weeks that make our life hard. We need to quickly put up a show with several streaming sources, mostly SRT using stream ID. (Also some TS-Pulls)
In addition, a similar API tool to set the SRT outputs and to turn them on and off?
If there was a way to add Streaming inputs via API – This would be a huge deal for us. We could easily employ scripts to build vMix projects.
Thanks Steve

Hi Steve check this : https://todostreaming.eu/en/index.html#homeI believe this would perfectly fit your needs and at least if you have a free PC around the corner, you can have it working in one hour. Unfortunately won't work in a VM, as said in the manual, I already tried anyway, the developer did something to prevent this from happening. Can't figure out why, but he did. This spanish guy has a long experience with streaming appliances and encoders. I'm very prone to trust this new product. I think it's a smart solution for IP contributions. Demo videos here : https://www.youtube.com/...UCnrqGSqpdviWuBMY39UTKZwGuillaume Edit : Forgot to mention that his SRT software encoder (in the download section) supports NDI feeds as inputs and works pretty well.

Guillaume,
Thanks, Yes I have talked to him several times, his Pi decoder is pretty cool, but doesn't work on Pi4 ?? But wait - I was just at his site a couple of weeks ago - this is a new deal!
Thanks for the heads up I will check it out now!
Merry Christmas!
BTW, I still want the API

Yes it's brand new and apparently, his previous encoders/decoders are no longer available... Maybe elsewhere? I don't know... Quote:BTW, I still want the API Sure! Me too ! I only mentioned this as an immediate potential alternative. Let me know if you test it. I have no available PC at the moment to try with but I really like the concept. I think he removed the ability to go for virtualization 'cos it only takes 3 minutes to create a new instance and get 30 days for free each time. However I think this a bad choice anyway. Such a server should be able to run in the cloud for obvious reasons. Another thing that bothers me : it seems that we don't have root access to the server itself! Only the web interface can be used. I understand why and at the same time it is not serious to buy a server for your infrastructure if you can't log in to it! Apart from that, I'm very much interested and think it could be a very nice complement to vMix for many use cases. Here's my +1 ! ;o)

I take it there was no progress on API support for addition of SRT inputs?
