We broadcast our Sunday service live using Vmix as the switcher between 5 cameras and a graphic computer. One of our target audiences is the deaf community, and we have interpreters of our Sunday service on a designated camera. Up until now, we have been pos- producing the service mixed from the different inputs as a PIP on the interpreter's capture.

Now, we have the interpreter's capture on Vmix and would like the same setup, where the live switching of the service used as an input to the PIP of the interpreter's full screen capture.

How do we program the final live output as an input to the PIP?

Thank you.

use multiviews or PiP overlays along with Mix inputs.

Been discussed hundreds of times already, vMix YT channel has tutorial for this (not the same context but the same result)

There are many ways to achieve this in vMix and this forum already explains most of them.

Yes, I have seen many posts. I have multi view selected. The issue is Vmix only gives me specific numbers (of the inputs) for the assignment of the PIP. When the producer switches input for the stream, does she also have to with the PIP for my interpreters PIP, too? This is impossible.

What is the number for the "output?"

It was hard for me to understand what exactly you want. But I guess you could use MIX inputs in vMIX.

https://www.vmix.com/help23/index.htm?Mix.html

Create a mix input and switch the scenes directly in it. Add this MIX input as an overlay to another input. This should help you to achieve your goal.

You can bring the vMix Output back into your production as an NDI input and use it in your PiP. The slight delay is probably irrelevant to your use case.

You have to activate NDI for Output 1 in Settings, Outputs / NDI.
