Our church has limited upstream internet bandwidth (10 Mbps) so when we are streaming we want to be able to prioritize the vMix stream outputs which require 5 to 6 Mbps.

Our gateway device (a Ubiquiti EdgeRouter ER-X) is able to shape upstream traffic and provide a guaranteed 6.5 Mbps upstream path. The EdgeRouter can prioritize traffic based on source IP address and protocol type. The IP address works well but unfortunately it cannot differentiate live stream HTTPS from other programs that also use HTTPS (such as a web browser).

OBS provides an option to bind the live stream outputs to a particular IP address. This allowed us to install a second NIC in the PC and assign it a separate address, and a higher routing cost so that the PC would not normally use the second NIC. OBS would then bind to the second NIC and the EdgeRouter could prioritize the streaming traffic over other traffic from the same PC.

Please can you consider adding this to give us better assurance of reliable QoS.
