When creating my line up for the Church service at home, I have the camera connected and create the camera input. I also create a few virtual inputs and put them into the line up for when I want to switch back to the live camera.
Now the issue is, when I get to the church and connect the camera and equipment up and then load the saved set up, everything comes in except the camera and the virtual inputs. They are all Black Screen and I have to close them all and recreate them. Which is a rather big pain especially if Im trying to train new people so I don't have to be there every Sunday.
Ideas.

When you open your preset at church, and get only black in the camera Input, it's probably because vMix can't find the device (and makes it "Offline").
So, just try changing the camera Input. That is, click the Input's cog wheel (or double click in its preview window), click the Change button, and select your camera device.
