Would like to suggest (or request) the facility to have a generic notes field for all inputs to allow adding any show or design specific information that might be useful for operators or when live.

I use qlab a lot and regularly make notes within cues that remind and prompt people with relevant information rather than having to follow notes etc.

I Love this idea. I would like to just be able to add notes to the general tab of an input, so I can quickly recall the thinking behind the layers, routing, etc..
