As we know, all the audio of the inputs of vMix, are provided with a delay so they are in sync with the slower video inputs.
this is a good idea for a lot of users, but as we like to do all the audio editing and delaying on an external audio mixer, we would like to make it possible to switch off the internal delay of vMix. this would make it possible to output the audio from an input directly to an output and make an input without delay where we can input the external mix without additional delay.
if I would like to input an external audio feed, I get a delay. this would place it roughly in sync with the video inputs which is great. but if I would like to output the vMix Call feed to an external audio engineer with compression and eq settings or auto mixer setups, and feed this back to vMix, there is an extra delay. also, if the input feed of the video can lose the delay on the audio feed (where possible of course) , there is a lower delay to the studio where the interviewer is listening to the vMix callers.
this would make it a much better system.
now we do this by mixing the audio on an external desk and feeding the complete audio feed and the video feed from vMix to an external PC with OBS to do the actual stream. vMix is not able to do the stream because of the audio delay on the External Audio Inputs.
