I have a an infer-red cctv decoder with 4 cameras and I would like to individually add them as single camera feeds to vMix.

The decoder has an ethernet port out and I have a second ethernet connection on the back of my pc. I've tried to connect to the IP addresses to vMix (as given by the decoder) but vMix doesn't see them.

I've also tried placing the network cable directly to my network and using the IP address, yet again given by the hardware, but still vMix doesn't see them (I can ping them via cmd and it bounces back with connection).

Could someone explain to me what I'm doing wrong and the steps I need to take to get them working please?

Thanks in advance.

Your cameras should output RTSP format video for vMIX to understand it.

Connect your decoder to the same router as vMIX.
Find RTSP urls for cameras in your decoder settings.
Add them as Inputs -> Stream/SRT
