I'm trying to create a shortcut that closes popup windows.
I can create a shortcut using KeyPress that sends a keyboard message, but can I send combo presses?

If I create a shortcut that says 'When I press A, send KeyPress Value B'
and a second shortcut that says 'When I press B, AudioMixer Show/Hide'

I can use A or B to show/hide the mixer.

BUT, I want to be able to close any pop-up window. I'm testing this on a Mac running Parallels at the moment so that might not help, but if I have the Settings window open and I press Cmd+W, it closes the settings window.
This seems to work for all the settings windows. Including Audio Plugins.

Does anyone know how to add 'cmd+w' as a value to the KeyPress shortcut function?

My friend, you need a Streamdeck :-)

Also Parallels might be issue, definitely get Bootcamp in there.

OK then so how do I do it with a Streamdeck?

I do already have some Streamdecks, I want to add a button on one that can CLOSE the audio plugins window. I want to know how to send 'Cmd+W' or whatever the correct Windows equivalent is, to a remote instance of Vmix.

With regards to the Bootcamp, I would but I have 3 fold reason for not doing so.
This isn't a show machine, purely for testing so I don't need the performance boost. When on gigs, I use other people's proper built out rigs, or AWS instances and their licenses.
I couldn't convince my early 2015 MBP to let me Bootcamp to Win10 due to the filesize issues when making a boot stick. So in the end I just gave up.
I use Parallels to snapshot so that I can easily and quickly go back in time to a blank unbroken machine without any random extra software I've installed to try something out.

If I understood your question correctly, off the top of my head, you have a couple of shortcuts available there. "Show Plugins", and "Audio plugins on/off" which can traget a particular plug in/input.

Any of these can be assigned to a Streamdeck key.

You are right, you can show plugins and you can turn them on and off.

I want to make the plugin window go away again afterward.

Right, no option there.
