I have the "Display confirmation for Record, External, Stream and MultiCorder buttons" option checked, and I get confirmation dialogs for recording (start and stop), but for streaming I only get a stop confirmation. I run a small team of volunteers who take turns running our streams, and I've been trying to make it as user-friendly as possible, but I've had a few instances of folks accidentally hitting the Stream button early. Why don't I get a confirmation button on stream start? Is that by design?

Teach your guys!
vMix is a PROFESSIONAL live production software where people are supposed to know what they're doing and understanding that clicking on buttons has consequences !

Seriously, that's not a helpful reply. Mistakes happen. I understand that you and others may prefer to have the stream start immediately. However, vMix added the option to get confirmation dialogs for those that want them, like me. I just want it to behave consistently. Why does recording ask for confirmation, but not streaming? Why does ending a stream ask for confirmation, but not starting a stream?

You can still use the Feature Request section to try to convince the community about this.
But there is no contructive answer for you, situation is as is. I told you why, that's all ! I also said that you'd better teach your volunteers, that's the only efficient solution at your disposal right now.
