Hiding/Pausing Live Input Previews?

Hey guys!
I was wondering if it would save processing power if there was a way to pause/stop a preview on an input in the input bar unless it is put into preview/program? I am potentially going to be working with a lot of inputs, but would always be switching to preview first so it would have a second to start rendering, is there a way to disable/stop the live previews on every single input (and would it even matter or save video processing power?)

Not exactly what you are asking about, but you can slow down the frame rate in the input boxes under the advanced performance settings: Screenshot 2020-11-08 180427.jpg (83kb) downloaded 0 time(s).

Awesome, thanks! I think that should help save some performance.
