Using Quadro for Instant Replay Encoding

I was wandering if you could use Quadro Card with unrestricted NVCENC to do the encoding for instant replay.
This could be a release the CPU to other tasks as well.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Be great if it could or at least off load some of the other IR load from CPU. Would also be interested to know if this would make a difference.

I don't think NVENC would be a good choice for encoding instant replay feeds, since instant replay needs to be able to quickly and smoothly scrub back and forth a single frame at a time, and h.264 is not a good choice for that.
