My church uses vMix to stream their services. Since we have multiple cameras installed, it is painful for a single person to manage both the camera selection, slides and also then put the overlay texts. I am wondering if there is a way this work could be shared by two different users?

Sure. Break the project up across a couple of computers/people. You can have one dealing with the upstream graphics sources. Use NDI to feed that into one that combines them with the cameras.

You can even use something like the web interface to vMix or a Streamdeck keyboard to give someone remote control of camera selection, without being sat right at the computer.
