Saving Profiles in Streaming Settings

Each week I have to go in and set up all of my streams under Streaming Settings. I tried to set up a new profile and save the settings but they disappear every time I restart the program. I've tried this multiple times and I click "save and close" each time.
If I set up a profile and save my streaming settings should they return each time I open the program? What am I doing wrong?

There is a profile drop down. Click add and create a new profile. You can select it in a later session again.

@mavik but he said he clicked "save and close" and it did not work, so what is the purpose of creating a new profile?

The “Save and Close” option in Stream Settings only saves that profile in your current “running” project, you then need to save it as a vMix Preset if you want to save it permanently (for the next time you run VMix).
