Trying to get an IPTV feed into Vmix
(1)IPTV Stream >> R9200 Exterity Receiver >>>>HDMI >>> Convertor to SDI >>> Multiview 16 >>> BlackMagic Design DuoDec 2 (Quad) >>> VMIX Pro "" ...or... >>> Large LED Screen
(2) TV Stream >> R9200 Exterity Receiver >>>>HDMI >>> TV
I want to get option (1) working again, currently an image gets through to Vmix or bypassing Vmix directly to my LED screen, is an image of an Exterity screen with "Access Denied" However if I patch it through test option (2), I get a nice SKY TV image on the TV.
I wonder if its something to do with the HD TV Channel being fed in, but if that is the case, I'm not sure what to change to ensure the R9200 gets back a signal saying that HD is supported by what its feeding?
Any thoughts, ideas or things to try would be very welcome.
Thanks Phil

Hey Phil,
this sounds like you want to ingest pay tv? Wich is copyprotected material. And this will make your hdmi output flag ths stream with hdcp signal.
Wich is an wanted feature so you cant copy a blue ray. I have the same problems as i try to grab signals from an apple tv to show apps and live phone screens. But aplle is harh abaut hdcp so you cant record leased videostreams fom aplle or netflix.
Normaly the hdcp is avoided by using the sdi domain to split and further prcessing. So it may be the hdmi to sdi converter wich causes the real problem.
If this worked usaly for you what could ahve changed:
An update on your r920o reciever. Or maybe yust the stream you recieve is now flagged with copyprotect siganl.
Also updates on Hardware decklink card could be the problem?
Find out where you can see your signal, is it visiable in your multiviewer? can you see it in the bmd recorder software so the problem is realy in vMix?
Hopefully this helps.

Paul, Thank you for your suggestions.
We have a subscription which allowed this and we didn't have any HDCP issues before lock-down.
Strangely it also appears to be happening on SD channels as well, so I suspect this Exterity stream has somehow had the Copyright flag turned on. I plan to look into this further, in the mean time today I have circumvented the issue with an HDMI splitter before the SDI convertor. So I have brought some time till I find out what changed.
