We’ve been using VMIX for three weeks now to livestream a church service. It has been working well. We also have been clicking on the “record” icon to record the live stream to upload to our YouTube account.

On the laptop we use for running VMIX, we can play the recorded video and hear the sound. When we upload or copy the mp4 file and run it on that new pc, there is no sound.

I’ve researched the forum and other VMIX support links, but cannot parse out a succinct method to fix this or how to incorporate other aspects to the mix to add audio.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

It may be that the codec you picked is not installed on the other machine. The easiest way to solve it would be to just install Vmix on the other computer.

Vmix also has a video converter tool in the lower right hamburger menu that may solve it.

But, excuse my niaivity, but what is the hamburger menu??

The 3 small horizontal lines in the lower right corner.
It is, when you click on it, showing the GT title designer
