Check audio card settings when used (sampling frequency)

Two week ago we are making a live show with vmix. We have vmix set to 48khz 16 bit audio resolution. In this case we use an external usb audio card. The audio card was default set by windows to 44khz 16 bit. Vmix don't check for this settings... All the audio passed from the sound card result down in pitch on the main mix... streaming and recording...
I think that is a good feature to introduce a control on the software to avoid this conflict.... thinking at any DAW software I know this check is present (pro tools, cakewalk, cubase)
