vMix Call has never works right for me even on a clean install and firewall not installed.

I am getting nothing but issues, my latest error is this:

"The underlying connection was closed: A connection that was expected to be kept alive was closed by the server."


Anyone recommend a good chat/video system apart from Skype or zoom without any of the never ending issues (oh and works with ipads and iphones), thanks?

Sorry if I sound negative but just so fed up with the constant issues with vMix and posting for help trying to resolve them all the time. When it works it's fine, but just getting fed up trying to get things right - probably user error most of the time.

Martin I try not to bother you guys as I know you're busy with the bug fixes and updates. The forum people have been helpful and usually support with my many issues. I'm just fed up now and will calm down soon lol.

vmixcall is P2P if possible. You can force P2P in the settings. vMixcall uses webRTC which has limits. Feel free to check out alternatives like medialooks VT products. They offer a watermarked free version to try out.
In general I would recommend try to check the entire path. Networks can be a bit tricky sometimes.
