Was sending SRT via vMix to Makito X4 Decoder using "Use Hardware Encoder" enabled both with a cloud vMix (NVIDIA Tesla T4) and a local vMix (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080).

The stream would start with audio, last about four seconds, then go silent. Rebooting the decoder yielded the same result. When I changed some settings on the Makito, audio would return for a few seconds, then go silent.

I got on the phone with Haivision and they had me try a few things. Once I turned OFF "Use Hardware Encoder", audio came alive on the decoder. This same behavior happened on both the Tesla T4 and GeForce GTX 1080.

It was Haivision's opinion that something is amiss with Hardware Encoding and vMix.

Anyone run into the same issue? Any suggestions? Should this be a bug report instead?
