Hi, I am trying to create my own virtual set and have edited the uvmap provided in this link: "https://www.vmix.com/download/uvmapsample.zip" but I am getting a ton of pixilation especially when compared to the precreated virtual sets as demonstrated in the attached image. vmix virtual set.PNG (2,199kb) downloaded 15 time(s).Here is a link to the virtual set I am trying to create. I need to create a couple of these for a show in the upcoming month, and they all have these skewed screens that I will need to map, so any help would be greatly appreciated! https://drive.google.com...v9y6OEg/view?usp=sharing

Hi,
How did you edit the sample UVMap? In your image editing software, you have to make sure to work in 16bits-per-channel colour. If you work in, or save it, as an 8bit PNG the results will look nasty.
But also, it seems to me, certain zoom values seem to lead to pixelated results. For example, when using UHD background images in a HD project, the Virtual Sets looked a bit pixelated when the set was shown at exactly 50% of the original size - zooming in a little removed the problem, so I wonder whether the image scaling algorithm used in vMix sometimes encounters values that lead to pixellated results.

8K image size ? is the video and everything else 8K ?
Maybe explain what the original UV map details were and how you created the final image

I scaled everything up to 8k because I just didnt really know what I was doing and thought that higher resolution would help, it didnt.
The 64 bit depth was my issue, I was editing the sample in photoshop and exporting it as PNG but the export was only 32 bits instead of 64 bits, don't know why. So my solution was to open up the sample UV map file directly in photoshop, do my edits, and just save it (not export) and now the video file looks great. Thank you both for your help!

Hi, Same problem, same "workaround". But: is there any option known in Photoshop or anywhere else to export in 64bit? How did vMix create the UV map and saved it? I'd love to have my Photoshop project with different layers and just export the one with the UVMap. But only 32 bit which leads to pixels. Worked in RGB with 16bit/channel also with 32bit/channel. PNG only results in 32 bit (when checking the preferences in explorer)

Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you! This has been driving me crazy for the past week. It would be nice to be able to do a layered approach directly from a Photoshop PSD, but I'll take the solution we have.

So I know I am over a year late to the party here. To render 64-bit UV Maps - my solution is in ADOBE After Effects and change the render settings from millions of colour to trillions of colour. This will then render images out at 64-bit colour.
