I'm a newbie, trying get streaming going for our church. I'm currently using the trial version of Vmix. I have a intro video, upon completion merges to a PowerPoint slide that I would like to display for undetermined amount of time. I to have wait for the Pastor to start the actual service then cut to the camera. I would like to add some background music while the slide is being displayed in the output screen and being streamed. It’s an MP3 file. The time would variable, but probably less than a minute. I’m sure that it is possible, can’t figure how to do it.

You can automate all that, look into the playlist feature:

Very easy. Add the music in the multiview tab of the PowerPoint slide input settings:
