I have a setup for hockey match where the main camera is an sony handycam with 50fps. Im capturing it with an avermedia capture board via hdmi.
Im using 2 webcam as fixed angle for replays but they both have 30fps. The replay feature forces every camera to have the same frame rate so i have tried to add them all on inputs as 50fps, 30fps and 60fps. When i change camera it works fine, but when i play the replay, there are stuttering probably due to the frame difference. Is there any way to sync them all so i do smooth replays?

Thanks

Are you using a separate SSD for replays on your system? What are your Recording Format settings?

im saving them on my system drive. Its a 1T SSD. I tried almost every framerate, 25, 30, 59,95, 60 but i guess the problem is that i can't manage to record all cameras in sync because of the different frame rate.
I usually save replays at 50MB.

You can see the stuttering on the video:

You should not be recording to your system disk. https://www.vmix.com/hel...?SystemRequirements.html

I watched the game up to the 30:42 mark and saw several replays. It may look to a viewer who's never seen your games that the replays are being purposely paused for effect. On some of them it works quite well, even though I know that's not what you're trying to do.

The replays are always from the webcams, correct? So it would seem if Recording Settings in Instant Replay are set to the webcams optimum frame rate, then the replays should record and playback properly.

I think the problem could be your system can't handle the replays since everything is running on the system drive. Anyway you could even borrow an SSD to test out Instant Replay on a separate drive?

I was trying to use also the main camera to do replays. This might be a problem since the main camera is a 50fps handycam and the webcams work on 30fps and it might lead to sync problems.

I'm going to try a new pc in a few days with dedicated ssd for the replays and will let you know if it fixes the problem.

Yes, they are the fixed cameras close to the goals. They cost around 30€ in Portugal.

I'm using a new computer with recommend hardware on vmix site and using a ssd disk dedicated for replays.
My project is 50p, ive two handycam 50p and two fixed webcam 30p but i add them as 50p so i can put them all on instant replay.
The 50p cameras run smoothly on replays but the 30p cameras play very fast and stutter 1 or 2 times

Your AMDIS 1080P Full HD Webcams have specs for 30fps with USB 2.0 connectivity. At 50fps they probably will have problems.

Have you tried using MJPG under the Video Format Dropdown?

I know I am not supposed to input the webcams as 50p but the instant replay cameras must be in the same format. I'm using mjpg
