Hello, congratulations for this software! This is spectacular! I'm trying the free version and it's really well done. Great stability and speed, low resources consumption.
First of all, this is my test configuration:
MB Asus P6X58D-E CPU Intel i7-950 @ 3,07 GHz 12 Gb RAM DDR3 1600 in Triple Channel Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 1Gb 2 x IEEE1394 (FireWire) HDD Samsung Spinpoint F3 500Gb for S.O. (Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit) 2 x HDD Samsung Spinpont F3 1Tb in RAID 0
I'm trying with two cameras Sony HVR-V1 connected with the two firewire ports. Standard DV PAL 16:9. So, two inputs and a DV recording. Simple.
But now we come to questions (in no particular order):
1 - Can I scroll the "video delay" when it is a preview? I can not pause the "video delay" and then send him to play from that point when you need it?
2 - I have a problem with the recording in DV. The files recorded without audio, can not be used in Adobe Premiere.
3 - The files stored in "MultiCorder" have much more video noise than the recording of "program" and false colors. Is there any filter applied perhaps? I also tried changing the settings of the color space, but I just get a green video. The only setting that works is YUV2.
4 - I saw that there is the "tally" in the options, but I have not found the necessary hardware on your website. I can build it? is a standard relay card connected to USB? Give me an explanation if you can.
I am available if you need to translate the software in Italian. Thanks in advance for the answers, regards, Felix.

Hi, In response to your questions: 1. As the Video Delay is constantly updating, a pause option is not currently possible. This may be improved in a future release. 2. See here for information regarding audio recording: http://www.vmix.com.au/h....htm?RecordingAudio.html3. This will be improved in the next version, note that MultiCorder is not designed for DV. 4. We can provide a 3x tally light kit for $300. It is based on the Arduino USB controller. Email info@vmix.com.au if you would like to order. Regards, Martin vMix

Thanks for the replies Martin. For the second answer, I read how to record audio. The problem is that they are required to record the audio or the DV files generated by vMix not open. For the "multicorder" I tried to record in MJPEG but the problem remains. Thanks again, Felice.

Hi,
MultiCorder does not support audio at this time. Only the main recording option has audio.

Thanks for the reply Martin. I do not need the audio on MultiCorder. The problem is this: I have a FireWire input. When I use MultiCorder, the recorded file has a lot "video noise". Recording from vMix rather good.
