It would be great if vMix could follow moving subjects with Virtual PTZ similar to the way gimbals and drones do.. draw a tracking box around the subject and then the software automatically moves the PTZ to follow.. this would help with automation for people with limited crew..

would be good if zoom levels could automatically change also.. the software could make some decisions at different times getting closer/wider shots for variation and have a rate control so you could select either slow subtle zooming or faster and more abrupt as needed.. Also provide the option to turn it off and have fixed zoom but just follow the subject..

would be cool if this was available for both PTZ cameras and virtual PTZ sources..

NVIDIA RTX broadcast is soon to be out of beta. I would love to get it as an addon to vMix. It has an auto crop and follow feature for camera work.

on the recent nvidia 3000 series launch video i saw they mentioned RTX broadcast and made reference to some face tracking abilities of the GPUs etc.. the software seemed more suited to gamers though with smaller head movements around a room ? if it could track larger movements (not just faces) that would be good.. especially if it could send output over NDI then it could be used alongside vMix..

tracking a subject has been on gimbals and drones for a while already so i dont think its too difficult in terms of processor requirements..
