I have an image sequence of a lower 3rd that has a built in transition out that I am overlaying text on using GT. How do I get the text to transition out before the image sequence transitions out? I'm probably blind but I don't see a setting that allows me to begin a transition of a layer or text block before the end of the image sequence. So currently the effect is that the lower 3rd animates out and then the text sits there for a second and then fades out.
Any help or workarounds would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Well here's what it's doing...I would be happy to provide any more info that would be helpful, just not sure what I'm missing! L3 example.mov (1,388kb) downloaded 11 time(s).

First thought : Why use an image sequence ? The graphic animation is easily duplicated in GT designer itself instead of image sequence together with the text Would give you way more control and more easy to adapt/change in future

Hey doggy, thanks for the suggestion and follow up! This would definitely work for this specific graphic but I have several others with much more complex elements and animations that I made in AE and I was hoping to be able to use those as well.
So is the verdict that this is a "feature request" and not currently available?

it would depend on how the AE ones are used
text as a separate title or embedded within the title
I assume the animation (image sequence) is of fixed duration ?

The idea would be to use the AE templates as the backgrounds and GT Designer text fields for the text. My plan was to data link the GT text fields for live updated stats with RSS or Excel/Sheets like you would with any sports CG. Maybe I just can't have any animations "out" at this point and will just have to fade or cut the graphic off during switching.
I can make the AE image sequence any duration I want basically, what were you thinking there?

Are you suggesting to have two sources for each graphic and have the background trigger the text?

So far i am understanding from you the image sequence to be a seperate input with a GT on top of it As such understanding the graphics would be in view for the duration of the image sequence So yes when you overlay the graphics and the title at the same time trigger it to go away after a little bit less than the duration of the graphics Same could be done when the image sequence is within the GT title , when putting title on overlay let the text animation fade out after a time shorter than the sequence duration
