vlc-record-2020-08-11-08h32m52s-Glitchy vMix Call audio sample.m4v-.mp3 (514kb) downloaded 5 time(s).Hey first post. Audio issues as heard in the attached clip (did it attach?). Camera: Sony Venice and FX9 (fx9 in example) Camera Audio Settings: phantom 48v, mic level, manual gain Mic: Schoeps and Sennheiser (sennheiser in example) plugged straight into camera Encoder: Elgato S60+ Laptop: PC and Mac Browser: Firefox (Chrome will not allow camera selection) Often at the start of a call the audio is fine. Sometimes as late as 10-15min into the call this will start. Other times it is immediate. It gradually grows worse. I have also experienced it with a Yeti mic plugged into a PC, using the internal camera. Audio is fine at the camera (listening through headphones) and fine when used with other apps (zoom, skype, etc). Anyone encountered this before? Thanks for any feedback. -G

Sounds over-modulated. Level too hot.
Like most WebRTC applications, vMix Call uses the browsers built-in gain control, echo and noise reduction. These can be troublesome in some cases.

Thanks for the reply.
This issue appears over time, it isn't constant like it would be if my levels were too hot. Also same levels work great in other applications.
I realized maybe it isn't that Chrome is not recognizing any external cameras, but just my external encoder (elgato). Attempted to feed the camera through NDI, and it worked.
Doing a stress test now, but hopefully that does it. Too bad about the Elgato.

Were you able to issolate the issue to the external encoder?
