So since the new Livestream Studio 2.0 makes it possible to rewind the iso recordings while recording and actually replay it with mark in and out points, are there any aspirations to make something like this possible in Vmix? Somethink like a "real" replay system and propably something that would Livestream Studios replaysystems ass?

They also mentioned that they wanna improve their replay system in the near future, which would make Vmix' replay system look kinda old.

And I'm also starting to like their GUI. Everything looks cleaned up and well organized, especially with the different tabs

Martin, are you going to change the GUI in the near future? Do you need help to find the perfect solution for a GUI update?

We could start a brainstorming and create some graphics to explain GUI suggestions.

How about that?

I would rather see you succeed, have the overall better product and get the big bucks than a big company like Livestream.

Regards,
Patrick

Hi Patrick,

An update to the instant replay features in vMix is on our roadmap.

However, regarding the GUI, I had a look at 2.0 and to me it seems quite cluttered and confusing, so not sure
we want to emulate that approach.

I suggest you do a forum search and read other threads about the GUI.
While other products may have a "cleaner" GUI, they also have a very small amount of features.

Regards,

Martin

I also think it is worth pointing out something that can be overlooked.
There are four tabs available in vMix. These are the category buttons on the left hand side of the window.

You can place cameras in one, videos in another and titles in the third category if you choose.
This is a great way to organise inputs into different categories.

Martin
