Martin, I know you’re busy with all the updates etc. Please consider updating vMix Social.

I’ve placed an idea for vMix Social here Text Editor but I have yet another fantastic idea lol.

Multiple lower thirds at the same time!

I’m using vMix in a small DIY studio and currently the comments from the viewers are displayed on another monitor for my presenters see (text are very large, thus making it easier to read), this is working great (using full screen output to the corresponding number for the lower third).

My idea is to have vMix Social to show two different ‘titles’ at the same time, that way I can have one for my presenters and a different one for my viewers. In vMix social the producer can select which ‘trigger’ they want to use for the desired lower third.

For example:

Title: FBCommentsPresenters.gtzip (drop down menu)
Trigger overlay: None - this one wouldn't be shown to the public (drop down menu) just active, thus selecting this as an output.
Allow automated updates (tick box for yes)

Add Another Overlay (tick box)

Title: FBCommentsPublic.gtzip (drop down menu)
Trigger overlay: Overlay 1 (drop down menu)
Allow automated updates (tick box for yes)

I hope this can be placed as I feel this can make the productions run a lot smoother.

I have thought about this many times and found workarounds to sync the data for 2 different layouts/titles with vMix UTC but

I currently don't have one at the ready but there is a enough info in the "scripting for dummies" for that .

in plain text: read the content of your social title textblocks and send them to your other title

That is what the above mentioned suggestion can achieve .
Another one is to double open vMix social each with their own title and webpage (then you can even select different messages for each title)

As I wrote today in the VMix petrol price Show, I have a lot of issues with Facebook. My suggestion would be to have multi login possibilities for the same thread. So more users could log in a social “grabber“ (maybe on different devices over network) for the same thread to grab. They bring all the posts together in one database on the vMix host every 5 seconds (purge double data for sure).
Also if you want to add some comments not found by grabber, it would be cool to be able to add it manually. Maybe it could work with copy and paste the link of the specific post (you find it at the date/timestamp of the post opening Facebook at Webbrowser).

Maybe there will be a possibility to get nearly all comments and improve or even for Facebook.

Excellent idea, to be able to send the same social vMix to several Titles, or to make a general sending (integrate social vMix to Data Source Manager).
