Hi Vmix Community,

I would like to know if this layered effect (where the sources are overlapping) is possible from a variety of sources such as vmix call, live cams, video broll or any other on each box:

Sample 1: https://www.screencast.com/t/G9HhGDMxTO

Sample 2: https://www.screencast.com/t/XlYytnAToP7

I have tried to recreate it like this,

Test 1: https://www.screencast.com/t/RWQgnakG4E

Test 1a: https://www.screencast.com/t/cwZoQw5o

I did a background with and alpha mask wich includes big frame and with a blank Virtual Set,

for the small frames, I did a frame in photoshop and with another blank Virtual set, I built each small box

and I put it all together with another blank virtual set, I put the 3 small boxes over the main blank virtual set holding the video with alpha and the video on the back

the issue is that it is hard to match the small videos to the frames with a blank virtual set and it takes all the resources to do it this way....

What would be the right way to produce this multilayered source effect inside Vmix, or something similar where the boxes overlap with a frame around them???

Sample 1: https://www.screencast.com/t/G9HhGDMxTO

Sample 2: https://www.screencast.com/t/XlYytnAToP7

thank you!

Personally i would create one virtual set and use UV maps for the video placeholders. Will be easier to tweak the inputs position within them by adjusting that in the sources themselves.

choices will be based on the transitions you want to make before and after imo
