Hi all. My son has an elgato HD60 S+ and wants to start streaming. I would like to buy him a laptop that will allow him to have good quality streams on Twitch. I have read the requirements but I want to make sure I get the right laptop. (I dont want to make a several hundred $$ mistake). Here is the laptop I was thinking about. Any advice/suggestions would be great. MSI LaptopMSI GF Series GF63 THIN 9SCX-005 15.6" 60 Hz IPS GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q 4 GB GDDR5 Intel Core i5 9th Gen 9300H (2.40 GHz) 8 GB Memory 256 GB SSD 15.6" 1920 x 1080 IPS-Level 60 Hz 45% NTSC Thin Bezel 14.13" x 9.99" x 0.85" 4.10 lbs. 1 x HDMI (4K @ 30Hz) 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type C 3 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Thanks in advance

MSI was not recommended because of all the crap they install on it. Although, if you are willing to do a clean install and find all the drivers, I imagine that would work. See currently recommended laptops: https://www.vmix.com/pro...ce-systems.aspx#sapphireNote that if you want to game and stream with VMix on the same machine, it's going to have to be a very high end one.

Honestly, any laptop with an Nvidia 2000 series graphics card will work.
I use a Lenovo Legion laptop with an 1660 TI with HD60+ and it works to just stream.
Gaming AND streaming on the same laptop is likely going to need some tweaks to the game (running the game at 720p, medium detail settings, etc).
The new ASUS ROG Zephyrus series with AMD CPUs and Nvidia GPUs are pretty solid.
