When I use a merge transition from a 2-Box (larger left oriented NDI source as Multiview Overlay 2, smaller cropped [X1=240, X2=1640] NDI source as Multiview Overlay 1) with a set background color or image, the background goes dark during the transition. This is because the NDI source doesn't have the same background image, or any at all. Is there a way to set a background image beneath a source to make the transition have a consistent look?
When I tried to remedy this by creating a source with a background and the NDI source as a Multiview Overlay, cropping issues arose when I wanted to use that source in the smaller part of the 2-Box for other purposes.
All input appreciated!
-Mike

-Mike Any as in black or transparent ? Merge without similar layers becomes like a fade

Yes, it's either black or transparent, but I want the background on the sources to match. When the merge executes, the background fades as the source goes full screen. If you set your background image as the source and lay the NDI input on top as a Multiview Overlay, the background image remains consistent as the source goes full screen. As I noted however, that multiview fix doesn't work with a cropped two-box of the same source when I use it elsewhere.
