Hi

I just noticed that I am having problems recording in mp4. (dropped frames due to HD or cpu although all settings were the same). also cpu usage is shooting through the roof.
I checked and also had the same problem using v12 which was strange as I didn't had the problem before.
Did a restore to point prior to v13 install (and eliminate additional software installs to be sure) and all was ok again, installed v13 and again the problem came back but by now I can not restore to previous situation anymore.
Fyi both versions are installed in different directories which I do for any version update.

any ideas

There is only one vMix Audio device vMix uses for recording and vMix 12 is not compatible with vMix 13.
So whatever version of vMix you installed last will work correctly when recording, while the other will not.

Understand but why would I have a problem with v13 (if I ignore v12) or would a complete cleanup /uninstaal first help ?

To help me work out what is going on try the following tests:

1. Install vMix 12 again and run a test MP4 recording
2. Install vMix 13 and run a test MP4 recording there

Provide the output of both log files and I will see what might be happening.
