Thanks: 1 times
Is it possible to stream directly from vMix to the Church Online Platform (like we can for Facebook Live or YouTube)? I tried searching, however, the words "church" and "online" bring up a ton of results. lol

You will need to stream from vmix to a paid streaming provider and then place the embed code from the streaming provider in church online platform.

[Post-script: I see in your question that you are posting ultimately to a specific Church platform. That may make my answer moot. For what it is worth, we stream to a close group in Facebook so that we are reaching primarily our members. We did that to maintain some privacy for members, though it is not perfect.]

If I understand the question -- then yes, that is exactly what we are doing.

We started out with vMix on a laptop and a webcam. We stream to Facebook Live. (There was no initial cost, though our trial of vMix ran out. We purchased VMix Basic which is pretty fairly priced. We will probably need to upgrade to something with more inputs because we are trying to get fancier with our production as we learn more.)

A basic setup is easy enough to do for someone with computer sense, even without a lot of audio/video knowledge. We were able to fairly quickly learn to include a second camera and pre-recorded content along with live stuff.

Best of luck!
