I have TWO USB C inputs on my new computer. I am using 2 Magewell HDMI to USB capture devices with blue type A connector to USB C cables for each camera Vmix does not recognize either camera input. Does Vmix not recognize USB type C Connectors?

Make sure you plug them in before starting VMix, also check if they require a driver. VMix will recognize most capture devices but not all. See requirement page for supported hardware.

can you see the capture cards in the device manager?
some adaptercables are only for charging and not all pins are connected
